Tibetan Buddhist Prayer Flags from Nepal

These Tibetan Buddhist prayer flags were made by Tibetan refugees in Nepal.  Each strand has 10 flags, 6.5" x 5.8" each, and the string is about 75" long.  Traditionally these flags are meant to be hung outside where as the wind and weather fray and fade them, their prayers are released into the universe.  You can read more information about them at : Prayer Flags: History & Meanings | Study.com
